I woke up today with a headache. When I’m stressed I clench my teeth. I’m sitting here thinking about the saying…

Everybody Is Going Through Something

It could be depression, a health issue, a break up, grief, loneliness, marriage or financial issues,etc. 
What is your “something”? And how are you handling it? We tend to hold our “something” in and hide it from the world. On social media we look like we have it all together. At work we smile and laugh after crying all the way to the office. Even when we talk to family and friends we pretend that we’re ok. Sometimes our spouses don’t even know what we’re going through.

Maybe it’s because we think nobody will understand, or maybe we’ll feel embarrassed or ashamed, or could it be we don’t want to be a burden so we hold it all in.
You can’t avoid these things. It’s life. And throughout life there will ALWAYS be something. How you handle it is what’s going to make or break you. 
But here are a few things you can do to get through





Ways To Handle Your “Something”

  • Pray and Trust God – This is always my number! Prayer definitely changes things. With God you can do all things and get through anything.
  • Therapy – One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Holding things in is not good for you or your health. Talk to someone.
  • Music – Make a playlist of your favorite songs. When you’re feeling down, turn it on. Dance & Sing. This is one of my favorite things to do.
  • Take a Bath – Relax. Light a candle. And just breath 😮‍💨
  • Last but not least “Go For A Walk”
